When should I register for the appointment?

Accepted Answer

The sooner the better—that way I can reserve a spot for you. It's best to get in touch as soon as you've purchased your dress.
Between 6 and 4 weeks before the festival, we will plan the marking date together.

Question 2

How much does the adjustment cost?

Accepted Answer

The costs depend on the extent of the changes. I'll be happy to give you an estimate at the stakeout appointment. A rough guideline is:
 • Wedding dress: from approx. 300.–
 • Formal dress: from approx. 150.–
 • Suit: from approx. 40.– / 120.–
Please note that these are only guidelines. Depending on the amount of work involved, the price for the initial fitting may vary.

Question 3

What do I need to bring for the fitting?

Accepted Answer

The shoes are very important so that we can determine the final length of your dress.
It's also a good idea to bring the underwear you plan to wear to the party to ensure nothing shows through.

Question 4

Can I bring someone with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring a companion with you to the fitting. Make sure it's someone whose opinion is important to you.

Question 5

Do I need to prepare for the fitting?

Accepted Answer

Trying on clothes can be tiring, as you'll have to stand still and upright for a long time. So make sure you've eaten and drunk enough beforehand.

Question 6

The party is in 3 weeks or less – can the dress still be adjusted?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the current workload, it may be possible to adjust your dress at short notice. Please contact me immediately so we can work together to find a solution.
Please note: If you contact us less than 3 weeks before your event, there is a 25% surcharge.

Question 7

Can I have a new dress made from my mother's or mother-in-law's wedding dress?

Accepted Answer

Having a wedding dress remade from an heirloom is always possible if there is enough fabric in it. Otherwise, it is also an option to incorporate elements from the existing wedding dress into a new one.
